“Bellaballoo” is a special portrait remembering the sweet soul of Bella.  Her expression is priceless and her eyes would make any heart melt.  One of her favorite toys is depicted in with the orb pattern background and the bordeaux colour blends in with the home’s decor.  This painting is 30″ x 36″.

This whimsical portrait is of Chloe, a Springer Spaniel, doing what she does best!  The background reflects the client’s love of travels to Mexico and recent home renovations in an adobe style.  Bubbles of turquoise sky burst through terra cotta, adding to the playfulness and happiness of the piece.

“Genuine Ginger” is a portrait of a dearly missed Labradoodle, one of the first in Ottawa in fact.  The gorgeous photo used to inspire the piece depicts a face she would give when it was taking too long to get in the water for a swim.  The background colours reflect her love of the outdoors and her athletic, adventurous spirit.  The orb pattern not only symbolizes angels around her but also water, tears falling, and eternal love.  The pure devotion and loyalty of a pet is an undescribable feeling and  I hope my artwork expresses this conection because there are no words to truly explain the depth of these emotions.

Happy 2007 everyone!!  Let’s start out the new year all pretty in pink with “Lovely Lola”!!  This is an 18″ x 24″ portrait of an adorable miniature wire-haired doxie!!  She may look very familiar if you frequent Westboro’s Bark and Fitz boutique!

The interlocked ring pattern symbolizes the never ending love and connection between human and pet.  Pink and chocolate brown were chosen not only to complement Lola’s colouring but to fit in with the decor and taste of the client!
